Les & his wife April were very pleased when their four year old daughter Gabby and Newfoundland dog Murphy came first in the Community Day Pet Show held on the village green in May. Gabby and Murphy are now pictured on the front page of the June 2007 edition of Culcheth life with a very proud Gabby showing off her winning rosette.
Gabby had a busy day, taking part in her Dance School demonstration in front of the crowds before taking part in the Pets Competition where she and Murphy were closely followed by a Guinea Pig and a Rabbit.
Murphy is two years old, weighs 12 stone & stands 6 feet tall & loved all the attention he got on the day. He is no stanger to the limelight as he has joined members of Newchurch Community Primary School in the past joining their after school club.
